Quick Free Chakra Guide
Chakra, meaning wheel or vortex in Sanskrit, is a swirling energy center in the body that is part of spiritual and alternative healing practices. The concept originates from ancient India and is associated with Tibetan Buddhism and other faiths. Each chakra has a purpose and is represented in two ways: balanced & imbalanced. The chakras are related to mental, emotional, and spiritual bodies. Each chakra has an impact on our hormones and nervous system (brain, spinal cord and nerves) as well as our organs. When we become energetically imbalanced, our mental, physical, and spiritual bodies suffer until we can regain homeostasis or balance.
This is why our mind-body connection is so important.
